Laura walks us through the ups and downs of writing her book about secrets, trauma, and incredible joy. As she takes us along on her writing, editing, and publishing journey we will learn how writing her memoir healed her in ways she never dreamed. Laura will read passages from her book and answer your questions and she promises that you too have a book inside of you.

About Laura:
Many of you know Laura as President of the San Diego Memoir Writers, a fellow writer and friend. What you may not know is that five years ago she never dreamed she would write and publish a memoir about the darkest secret in her life. Writing her book started by accident in a Writers Ink, Artist’s Way class that segued into walking into her first Memoir 101 classwith Marni Freedman and Tracy Jones in January 2017.
