Welcome to IMWA, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to supporting memoirists from all walks of life.  If you have a story inside you just bursting to get out, we invite you to come meet your people. We provide networking opportunities, educational classes, expert talks, and ways to collaborate and get your book published! If you have a story to tell, you’ve come to the right place.

We are committed to the craft and business of memoir writing. Our purpose is to create a community of inspired, nurtured, and educated memoirists. We meet the first Saturday of every month on Zoom

Members also have access to meeting recordings should you not be able to attend the scheduled meeting via zoom.
